How to setup SPF and DKIM for Drip.com
This guide outlines the steps to configure Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) for your domain in Drip. Completing these steps ensures your domain is aligned with DMARC standards, improving email security and deliverability.
Prerequisites
- Access to your DNS hosting provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, etc.).
- Administrative access to your Drip account.
- Basic understanding of how to add or modify DNS TXT and CNAME records.
Drip requires custom sending domain to be setup to enable DKIM.
To change your sending domain:
Go to settings > email setup
Select sending domain
Select change sending domain
Choose the custom domain you’d like to use for sending emails
Select next
Verify your domain by publishing the CNAME records given by Drip to your domain’s DNS settings
Select I have added these records
Drip will verify these records
